With over 30 years in real estate, some would think that he would have become jaded…. but Chris is far from it, and he is even more passionate about his business and what he can contribute. Chris brings a wealth of experience and smarts that no other local agent can offer.
Chris has lived a life of real estate, commencing his career in the family business in Albury, NSW in 1978. Chris then gained extensive grounding and experience managing offices in the inner Sydney real estate market, including a high profile Double Bay agency, before finally settling in the Richmond area in 1991, “the genuine heart of Melbourne” and where he still lives today.
Chris loves the variety of inner city property, from traditional styles to ultra modern townhouses as well as warehouse conversions. As a leading auctioneer and skilled negotiator, Chris takes pride in achieving the best for his Clients, and remains passionate about his work and doing the very best for all clients of Biggin & Scott Richmond.
When not occupied managing his large team at the Richmond office, his life revolves around his daughters, Nell and Hanni, who rule the household, and partner Kaye, second-in-command, whilst Chris comes in a long last!
Chris also plays squash, enjoys travel, football and the races, but he laments not being able to get there! You may have once found him reading a good book, walking the dogs, Cairo and Jingles, or listening to music in his quieter moments, but alas, Nell and Hanni beckon.
If you’re interested in buying or selling, or if you would like guidance on buying or investing in real estate, take the time to call or make an appointment with Chris. You will receive candid and practical advice, which is hard to find elsewhere.
Chris’ personal motto:
“Do unto others as you would do unto yourself”
