David Lack has built an outstanding reputation in the property industry over the last 18 years. Firmly established as one of Bayside's most successful Sales Agents, he is consistently a top performer. David has achieved an enviable sales record of more than $1 billion in local sales.
Performing the various roles of Business Owner, Sales Director and Auctioneer, David lives and breathes real estate. With a genuine passion for property, it's no wonder he's been instrumental in establishing one of the District's leading offices. Many of his innovative ideas have been adopted throughout the Biggin and Scott network. Holding a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, David is a 'hands on' business operator. He is a reputable Auctioneer with an enviable history and has a zealous approach to ensuring both he and his staff are continuously learning and upskilling through constant training.
Having always lived and worked Bayside, David has a unique, in-depth understanding of the area and ensures he's at the market forefront. This enables him to offer vendors astute, honest advice on the ever-changing property market.
"When I started out in 1994, Sandridge Bay Towers was the only high rise development in the area. Now, there are around 80. Add this to substantial renovation work to many existing dwellings and you have a suburb that has changed its image markedly. Port Melbourne definitely a place that is constantly evolving".
With his remarkable track record, David is totally committed to his profession. He does not stop striving to secure outstanding prices for clients and build lasting relationships.
"If someone trusts me with the sale of their home it is my number one priority. My ultimate responsibility is to always go above and beyond their expectations in terms of service, results and making the experience a pleasant one," David says, "I treat every listing as if it were the sale of my own home and aim every time to understand each client's individual requirements".
Dynamic, thoughtful and assuring, David has established many strong relationships and attracts a large amount of repeat business. He's even sold several properties two or three times over!
Outside of work, David and his wife Emma are doting parents to Fraser and Sophie, and in his leisure time he enjoys mountain biking, kayaking and fishing.

David Lack and team had done a lot of extra work because we are in Sydney. He organized everything to make the house ready for selling, including watering the garden and calling the plumber to fix the toilet leaking because we cannot reach Port Melbourne. They did all these without any charge although he took over exclusive lease Agent agreements just before Christmas. He is real professional salesman and provides worthful advice. We are very happy with the great result. They did a good job!- Nancy
David, Fraser and the Biggin Scott Port Melbourne team were always supportive and encouraging with great knowledge of the local area. Their handling of the sale of our property was done with utmost professionalism and complete transparency. They were always ready to answer questions and offer advice. It has been a pleasure working with them to achieve a very satisfactory result. We highly recommend them to buyers and sellers in Port Melbourne.- John & Catherine
My family is thrilled with the result Fraser achieved in selling out property. He and his father David are an awesome team!
Fraser developed strong relationships with potential buyers which allowed us to achieve a quick turnaround for our property. It’s reassuring to have two very talented real estate agents working for you - Fraser brought youthful insights and passion which complemented his father”s outstanding reputation and knowledge. Thank you Fraser! I wouldn’t hesitate to hire you again.- Gill
